Stu Turnball and Ed Bayliss rowed across the Atlantic Ocean for charity and in attempt to break the world record. White Night Films are making a feature-length documentary about this personal, heart-warming story of 2 men chasing their dreams and the epic adventure of rowing across an ocean.
Stu and Ed raised a quarter of a million pounds for Cancer Research attempting to cross the Atlantic Ocean in 40 days, rowing non-stop in alternate 2 hour shifts. Its a journey fraught with danger that has seen them battling huge storms, a broken water maker and diminishing food supplies.
The row has attracted great media interest in the UK and around the world and the boys have also been photographed by David Bailey to front the new Olympus campaign.
White Night productions visited Jacks of London in Kingston, where Ed received a relaxing cut-throat shave experience from top barber Carl Blake. After not shaving for many months this proved a perfect relaxing end to the experience and will form part of the closing scenes of the finished documentary.
